Amazing!, Wonderful!, and an all around memorable event are a few of the words that I would use to describe our bridal shower!
As most of you know the bridal shower took place in Long Island at The City cellar on June 8, 2013 at 1230pm. It rained all week but when Saturday came the sun was shining bright for the party to get started.
The room was beautifully decorated by my Mom, Kathy, and an influx of earlier attendees which included friends and family. We had games, gifts, and smiling faces. The candy and cupcakes were a huge hit and I heard extremely yummy. I was happy to see the amount of people that came to the shower and I appreciate the long drives some took to be a part of our special moment.
Congrats to everyone who won a prize! There were wonderful gifts given out. From gift cards to perfumes to coasters, all of these gifts were on point. We gave out little bells and measuring spoons as party favors. My wedding colors are gray and blue, my age is 27, and my favorite dessert is icecream for those of you who got those questions wrong.
I think we can all agree that the food at city cellar was delicious and the cheesecake was out of this world. The salmon was huge, the chicken was plate licking, and the steak with gravy was mouthwatering. If you agree, give me an Amen!
To my friends and family I am very grateful for everyone who participated in making the bridal shower a success. We were overwhelmed with the love and joy that we were shown that day. It reinforces the strong connection that we have as a family.
The wedding is going to be an event to remember.
I got sexy lingerie, lots of baking items, electronics, gift cards, and all of my china. My mother's idea to have special notes in the wishing well was a wonderful idea. I am keeping all of those notes in a scrapbook to cherise for many years to come.
Also not mentioned before are some of the gifts sent to my house:
•Aunt Vasti and Uncle Arlton: 2 sets of the five piece fine china. • Theresa: Dublin Decanter, 16pcs glass set, & 4pcs mug set. •Grandma in Fl: Icecream maker ( I think she may know me the best). Jen S. : a gift card to crate and barrel.
If you don't remember anything about this last post just remember 1 thing. Charlie is mine and he is Taken.
